The first design work I did for the Realms. Kyse was an attempt to combine elements I didn't commonly see in character design, and to do something relatively different from what I'd done so far (given that the first Realms character I conceptualised was Reylan). Kyse also was a little more angsty than I normally allowed myself to make a character.

Kyse is a half-skunk, half-lion whose family line was dedicated to binding a demon. Initially, this would have been fine, except the demon is bound in his own body, in part. Over the generations, as the family's children have been fewer and fewer in number, this binding began to incarnate itself in a slightly ethereal chain that wraps around his body (see, in the art thar').

Kyse at this point, is a little lost and undefined, beyond that central concept.
